Terms of use

Last updated: October 19, 2026
Translated from French. If the two differ, the French version applies.

These terms govern the use of the Beaubon app, published by Paul Planchon (“Beaubon”, “we”). By creating an account, you accept them.

1. The service

Beaubon is an everyday restaurant guide to Paris.

2. Your account

3. What you post

You keep ownership of what you post on Beaubon (places, reviews, photos, notes). You allow us to show it in the service, free of charge and for as long as your account exists, and to adapt it for display (cropping, summarizing).

Beaubon has zero tolerance for abusive content or behavior. You may not post or send:

4. Reporting content or a member

You can report content or a member to paul@planchon.io (the support page explains what to send us). We review every report within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these terms and may suspend or exclude the member who posted it.

5. Restaurant listings

Addresses, opening hours, prices and descriptions are given for information only. They may change without our knowing: check with the restaurant. Beaubon is not tied to any restaurant and receives nothing from them.

6. Suspension and closing your account

You can delete your account at any time (see the support page). We may suspend or close an account that does not follow these terms or the community rules shown in the app, after warning you, except in case of serious breach.

7. Intellectual property

The app, its name, logo, texts, images and selection of places belong to Beaubon. You may use them for your personal use, in the app. Any other reproduction requires our permission.

8. Liability

We do our best to keep Beaubon running continuously and without errors, but cannot guarantee it. We are not responsible for your experience at a restaurant, nor for content posted by members, unless we failed to remove it after it was reported.

9. Apple

These terms bind you to Beaubon, not to Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, its maintenance or any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You declare that you do not live in a country subject to a United States embargo and are not on any list of parties subject to United States restrictions.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We will let you know in the app before any significant change takes effect. If you keep using Beaubon, you accept the new version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In case of disagreement, please write to us first at paul@planchon.io: we will look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction, subject to the rules that protect consumers.
